There was a time when Bollywood used to make fun of Telugu cinema. However, for some time situation has changed. The stars of Bollywood are taking our Telugu movies, doing remakes and scoring hits. As the standard of Telugu cinema is improving by the day, Bollywood producers are keeping an eye on our movies. In this context Bollywood producer director Karan Johar has acquired the rights for making Hindi remakes of recently released ‘Dear Comrade’ and ‘Jersey’ starring Nani.
However, Karan is said to be in a dilemma as to which film he should make first. In fact Karan first wanted to make ‘Dear Comrade’ but since the result of this movie in Telugu was not as expected, Karan is planning to do either ‘Jersey’ or ‘Dear Comrade’ with Shahid Kapoor. He is said to have left the decision to Shahid. However, Shahid has not decided as to which of the two movies he will do. Once Shahid takes a decision, Karan is ready to take that movie to the sets.
