Lessons to be learnt from Janu

Remake of classics is not only risky but is also a costly affair. This has been proved many a times. This is because when such films are made they will be compared with the original ones. Though producers and directors make some changes in script and actors and actresses in remake give the best performance, audiences don’t digest this easily. Even if the films are made in vernacular language, the moment they are available on digital platform, audience watch them. Recently star producer Dil Raju took a huge risk by making Janu as the remake of Tamil classic 96.

Director Prem Kumar once again impressed with his amazing work. Sharwanand and Samantha gave a wonderful performance. Similarly the remaining technical team put in great effort. However, that film failed to attract Telugu audience. This impacted the collections. Janu’s failure was a shock for Dil Raju. It is being said that Pink remake being produced by Dil Raju will meet a similar fate. On the other hand Asuran being made by Suresh Babu and Venkatesh may go the same way. It is being said that Venkatesh Asuran and Pawan Kalyan Pink remake should learn lesson from Janu to save themselves from a similar fate
