Nabha Natesh made an entry as the heroine in ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ opposite Sudheer Babu. She, however, did not get the expected offers in Telugu movies. Nabha Natesh, who acted as a traditional girl in ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ caught the attention of Puri Jagannadh. He picked her as one of the heroines with Ram in ‘iSmart Shankar’. Even heroines will have considerable importance in Puri’s movies. Puri gave Nabha a good role in this film. She appeared in a glamorous role but did not expose. Critics are also lauding her acting as a mass girl.
Nidhi Agarwal played the second heroine in this film but Puri could not give her good presence on the screen. Nidhi competed with Nabha in terms of glamour but she had no scope for acting and Nabha called the shots. Puri kept Nidhi aside and whenever required he trusted only Nabha Natesh. Nabha did not shy away from doing romantic scenes with Ram. She did bold scenes like the director wanted her. Here and there Nabha’s role appeared to have some extra dose of glamour.
Without yielding ground to Nidhi Agarwal, Nabha displayed the skin. Otherwise watching Nabha’s role as Warangal girl would have been irritating. Dialogues written for Nabha’s role with Telangana accent look artificial. Nabha’s acting as Chandni in ‘iSmart Shankar’ and her glamour will definitely be noticed by young heroes.
