Naga Shourya at the receiving end

After he began his career as the hero, Naga Shourya scored good hits but also had few flops to his credit. When he was having flops, his father and mother together set up Ira Creations and made ‘Chalo’ movie which proved a hit. After this hit movie, Naga Shourya without applying his mind once again made films like ‘Narthanasala’ and ‘Ashwathama’ and suffered huge losses both as the director and the hero. The talk in film circles is that despite knowing everything Shourya burnt his fingers in story and direction and because of this his own movies met this fate.

However, more than flop films Naga Shourya is known for other controversies in Tollywood. Due to the confidence in ‘Ashwathama’ he spoke whatever he liked about ‘Chalo’ director Venky Kudumula. However, Venky Kudumula gave a brief and mild response to Shourya. Meanwhile, all are pulling up Shourya for what he has done in the case of ‘Ashwathama’ heroine. They say that it is not proper for Shourya to behave in such a manner with the heroine. They feel that Shourya should not have used media to target Mehreen Kaur after not paying her hotel bills. At the same time there are reports circulating on the social media that Shourya family did not make payments to many in Ira Creation like cameraman and music director. Now Naga Shourya is also at the receiving end. On the other hand there are also reports that Shourya stalled Srinivas Avasarala’s movie. Now the talk has spread that directors and producers will think 10 times before doing films with Naga Shourya.
