Samantha faces netizen’s backlash


Immediately after her entry into Tollywood, Samantha acted in big budget movies to reach to the status of star heroine. Now the daughter-in-law of Akkineni family is moving cautiously. On one hand married life and on the other career, she is trying to balance the both. Movie ‘Majili’ in which she shared the screen with her husband is getting ready for release on April 5. Two more movies, one under the direction of Nandini Reddy and another ‘96’ remake by Dil Raju are in the pipeline. On the other side, Samantha is working as brand ambassador for some products and doings ads for some other products. Thus she is earning with both hands and moving ahead in her career.

In the latest development, Samantha acted as brand ambassador in an ad of Kurkure, which is a favourite of the children. This ad is being repeatedly telecast on TV channels. However, netizens are expressing their anguish over the ad and are trolling Samantha. There have been reports for long that plastic material is being used in Kurkure and it is harmful for children’s health. Some netizens have vent their anger over Samantha, asking her how can she work as brand ambassador of such a product. They are tweeting with questions like do you promote such products for the sake of money. They are urging her not to do so. Let us see if Samantha takes note of the comments of netizens are just ignore them.
