‘Geetha Govindam’ featuring Vijay Devarkonda and Rashmika and directed by Parshuram is currently rocking the theatres. Even two weeks after the release, it is racing ahead with houseful collections. The film also received mega support. This film has been produced by Bunny Vaas under Geetha Arts banner with low budget but it has given him huge profit. With stars like Allu Arjun, megastar Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu giving positive feedback, their diehard fans played a key role in making ‘Geetha Govindam’ a hit. Made with a simple story, this film has become the biggest hit.
However, a senior Tollywood director has made sensational remark that ‘Geetha Govindam’ director Parshuram copied his film. He, however, made these remarks in a lighter vein. That senior director is K. Raghvendra Rao. While speaking about the success of ‘Geetha Govindam’ at a programme, he said that 20 years ago he made a film ‘Pelli Sandadi’ with Allu Aravind as the producer. Now ‘Geetha Govindam’ reminds me of my film. Raghvendra Rao made funny comment that Parshuram copied his movie ‘Pelli Sandadi’. Talking about Parshuram, he said a director while making a film will be under tremendous pressure from producer. Parshuram also faced that pressure. He, however, said that he is happy that a good film has been made and congratulated ‘Geetha Govindam’ team.
