One has to say hats-off to Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi

In Tamil film industry, Vijay Sethupahti created a craze and an image for himself. He may not be a star hero but his fan following is no less. Recently Vijay Sethupathi not only scored a solid hit with ‘96’ but also gave an amazing hit with ‘Super Deluxe’. In ‘Anjali CBI’ Vijay Sethupathi’s acting as Nayanatara’s husband is superb. He plays any character with ease. Though he does not do make-up and does not look like a boy, his acting has special audience. No matter which character he plays, he immerses himself into that role. In fact he claims no credit as hero and does not do any buildup. After movies like ‘96’ and ‘Super Deluxe’, Vijay Sethupathi’s demand in parallel language movies has gone up.

As part of this, he is doing a role with negative shades in ‘Sye Raa’ Telugu movie starring Chiru. Everyone thought Vijay is doing villain’s role in the movie of Chiru’s nephew Vaishnav Tej. However, as per the Filmnagar talk,  Vijay is doing a very ordinary role that is the role of heroine’s father in Vaishnav Tej’s debut movie. After seeing this one can’t stop himself from saying hats-off to Vijay’s guts. At a time when he is scoring good hits as hero in Tamil movies, doing the role of heroine’s father in Telugu movie is not an ordinary thing. Compared to the different roles Vijay played in the past, this could be the biggest challenge for Vijay.
