What will be fate of ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’

Many audiences had realized that NTR ‘Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Mahanayakudu’ movies were made to portray NTR and Chandrababu as the heroes and as a result those two films proved big disaster. They could not digest that these films ended abruptly without showing the real events that took place in NTR’s life. Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma made a movie ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’based on the bitter incidents during the last phase of NTR’s life. Varma may have made the movie out of his anger for TDP and Balakrishna but one can’t rule out that the film will present the facts. Varma is trying to show to audience events like NTR’s marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi and his death.

That’s why there is huge craze for the movie. Since Varma is releasing the movie during election time, it has also become a reason for high expectations from it. However, there are doubts whether the film will maintain this craze even after its release on March 29. Since currently the box-office is dull, releasing this movie is a right step. With huge expectations from this film, it is sure to have good opening. If it gets some positive talk, it will definitely run. Audiences have been waiting for a good movie. At this hour ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ is being released. If Varma lives up to their expectations, the movie will become a super hit. Otherwise it will end up as another disaster from Varma.

While ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’s is getting good free publicity, watching it on film screen will be difficult. This is because the film’s quality appears to be low. Moreover, the artists are unfamiliar. With Varma’s previous films proving disaster, audiences have lost confidence in his direction. Thus Varma’s future will depend on the response this film gets. ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ is facing another danger. Naga Chaitanya-Samantha movie ‘Majili’ is being released on April 4. There is huge craze for ‘Majili’. This being the first film in which Chaitu and Sam acted together after their marriage and Shiva Nirvana having good track record, the movie has high expectations. If ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ becomes a blockbuster it will be okay otherwise it will be washed away in ‘Majili’ wave.
