Is Chandrababu Naidu confusing people?

Telugu Desam boss Chandrababu Naidu caught in the midst of bureaucrats and the electronic devices like drones and dashboards, Chandrababu Naidu failed to look around and keep a watch on the political developments for four years. The man who claimed that he would see from his dashboard in his office which street light is not working and which dustbin is not cleared, had failed to notice how the Opposition YSR Congress is making inroads into the people with the special category status demand.

With 40 years of political experience and claiming to be the senior most politician of the country, Chandrababu Naidu failed to smell the BJP’s intentions. It took four years for him to understand that Narendra Modi-led BJP would not help him grow strong. He failed to smell that Narendra Modi is not like Atal Behari Vajpayee or Lal Krishna Advani who allowed him to play key role in the national politics, sitting in Hyderabad.

He had gone back on his own statements on not just one issue. He did that on the special category status, on the resignations of the MPs and on the no confidence motion. His statements contradicted his own statements made the previous day. This is because he was preoccupied with the drones and dashboard, monitoring his employees and his party leaders. He gave ratings to the officers and MLAs, Ministers too, sitting in the CMO or at the Real Time Governance System. In the process he found himself nowhere and lost in the fast changing politics.

He woke up after Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the last budget of this term and that too when people began saying that there was nothing for AP in the budget and BJP had betrayed the people. But it was too late for him.

Now, after a month, he is contradicting his own statements. One day he says that BJP is conspiring against the Telugu people and the next day he says that the BJP is conspiring against the TDP. One day he says he had to pull out from the NDA because BJP is favouring the corrupt YSR Congress and the next day he says he broke the alliance with the BJP because the national party had betrayed the Telugu people. One day he says that he broke the alliance because he is not respected and the next day he tells people that he pulled out from the alliance because the BJP is insulting the people.

This confusion is something new from Chandrababu Naidu, a Machiavellian and the Chanakya of this age.
