Becoming Miss India is a challenge for today’s young girls. Many girls think that it will be enough to reach entry level at this beauty pageant. Miss India crown is achieved with lot of hard work, maintaining the figure, beauty, right diet, intelligence, expression and also luck. After that the winner gets the chance to represent India in the international beauty pageants. Femina Miss India contest was held in Mumbai in a glittering fashion. The contest held in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium created an excitement. Beauties doing catwalk were the centre of attraction.

In the stiff competition, Rajasthan’s 20-year-old Suman Rao was crowned Miss India as she won the hearts of judges in all categories. Shivani Jadhav of Chhattisgarh finished the runners-up. It is significant that Telangana’s Sanjana Vij was declared second runners-up. In this competition attended by prominent Bollywood personalities, well known filmmaker Karan Johar and 2017 Miss World Manushi Chillar acted as the judges. Last year’s Miss India Anukirti of Tamil Nadu crowned Suman Rao as this year’s Miss India.
