The Telangana Rastra Samithi has warned Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu of big trouble in future if he fails to stop his intervention in their state. TRS leader and Minister K T Rama Rao took strong exception to Chandrababu Naidu’s campaign in Telangana elections against the TRS. He said that the TRS too would poke its nose in Andhra Pradesh politics and that would give a big trouble for the TDP in future.
KTR interacted with the groups of Kshatriya and Kapu communities who have their roots in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the two States are divided and ruled by two different political parties. He felt that Chandrababu Naidu should have kept himself away from Telangana politics as the TRS was not interfering with the AP politics. However, with the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu working to unseat the TRS in the State, KTR said that the TRS too would do its best in AP to unseat Chandrababu Naidu.
On fielding NTR family member, Suhasini from Kukatpalli, KTR alleged that it was an attempt to make use of the Nandamuri family’s popularity. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had no respect for the Nandamuri family except using them whenever he is in trouble. “If Chandrababu Naidu has so concern and love for the Nandamuri family, why did he not take them into his Cabinet in AP instead of fielding them in the Telangana elections” KTR asked.
KTR further said that Chandrababu Naidu was doing politics with the money and media influence. He said Naidu was trying to replicate his money and media politics of AP in Telangana which the TRS will not allow.
On his part, Chandrababu Naidu who had returned to Telangana for his second round of campaign made a whirlwind tour of several constituencies where the TDP is contesting in alliance with the Congress. During his election meetings Chandrababu Naidu pledged to defeat the TRS in the State and crown the Congress. He appealed to the people to send the TRS leaders to their farm houses.
Interestingly, the Telangana poll battle is taking serious turns and twists with both KCR and his team determined to retain the power and Chandrababu Naidu dong his best to defeat the TRS.
