A letter is in circulation on the social media, supposedly on the letterhead of YSRCP party signed on the name of YS Vijayamma, who is the mother of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, resigning from the party YSRCP. In the letter titled 'Press Note', there are several allegations on YS Jaganmohan reddy. "I am feeling pained after watching various issues that are arising in family and also party in the past 3 years. Rajasekhar reddy is not among us but to take his ideals forward, I worked as party president. But seeing the confrontations between my children due to various reasons led to desperation in me."
The letter goes on to say "Jagan is mental patient from childhood, but now his disease has gone beyond treatment. "It also states that Jagan mohan reddy has been keeping his own sister and mother aside for selfish reasons and all of this has led to mental torture to her and so she has decided to resign from the post of YSRCP party president.
The letter is signed – YS Vijayamma, with address and phone numbers of the party office in Guntur.

The claim that YS Vijayamma, mother of AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy is resigning to YSRCP party is FALSE.
A journalist from Times of India, Vijayawada tweeted on July 1, 2022 that "#AP #CID nabbed a person on charges of creating a fake resignation letter of #YSVijayamma from #YSRCP using the identities of the party and signature of Vijayamma mother of CM #YSJagan
According to reports, the letter has been created with malicious intent by people. Officials of Crime Investigation Department have arrested a person from Guntur district for posting the fake letter. The signature of Ms. Vijayamma has been forged and letter was posted on social media group.
Following a complaint, the CID police registered a case on relevant charges and arrested Venkateswara Rao on June 29 and produced him in the court.
The police made a vain bid to serve a notice under Section 41-A CrPC, but his family members did not cooperate with the police, and the accused had tried to escape from his house, the officials said.
As per the directions of the court, a team of doctors conducted medical tests and gave a fitness certificate, which was produced before the magistrate, the officials added.
Officials from Guntur released a press note stating the details of the case, where they clearly mentioned that the letter was created by accused for malicious పుర్పొసెస్
Therefore, the resignation letter in the name of YS Vijayamma is a altered one and the claim that YS Vijayamma is resigning from YSRCP party is FALSE.
