The state-owned road transport corporation, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), will henceforth be called TGSRTC. After Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated, the corporation, APSRTC, was renamed TSRTC. After the formation of the Congress government, the name was again changed as TGSRTC. RTC signage, stationery, stamps, and letterheads are being updated accordingly.

After this change, several social media users are circulating a logo claiming that it is the new logo of TGSRTC. The logo in circulation resembles the old logo of APSRTC and the images of Charminar and Kakatiya Kalathoranam from the latest logo of TSRTC have also been removed. This enraged several citizens who raised objections about the new logo.
