The image shows the family sitting at the dinner table, and in the background, we can see a picture frame of Dr BR Ambedkar hanging on a wall in the room. Users are sharing this image implying that the famous football player Cristiano Ronaldo is a follower of Bhimrao Ambedkar.
An X user shared the image with a satirical made-up story about how Ronaldo is related to Ambedkar.

The claim is False. The viral image showing Dr BR Ambedkar’s picture frame hanging on the wall of football player Ronado’s house is a morphed one.
When we searched for the viral image using Google reverse image search, we found the original image does not contain the picture frame of Dr BR Ambedkar in it. The image is from the year 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown. The image was shared in an article published by latestly.com in April 2020, the article states ‘after the suspension of football activities due to the coronavirus pandemic, Portugal football player Ronaldo and his family decided to self-isolate themselves.
We also found an X post shared by Ronaldo himself in April 2020 with the caption ‘We wish a Happy Easter to everyone’
The original image was also shared on a website named purepeople with the caption ‘Cristiano Ronaldo, his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children, confined at home in Portugal April 2020.’
D-intent Data also took to X to debunk this image. They declared that the image is a digitally altered one. They shared the image with the caption "A digitally altered image featuring Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo enjoying a meal with his family while Dr. Ambedkar's image appears in the background has been shared as real."
Therefore, the image of Ronaldo and his family does not have a picture frame of Dr BR Ambedkar in the background. The claim is False.
