Old video shared as current situation in Pakistan amidst heavy rains
Most cities in Pakistan faced heavy rain causing flooding, power outage, landslides and even death. Amidst this, a video of a flight landing on a waterlogged runway is being shared on social media as a recent clip from Pakistan.
The video is shared with the caption, “LAHORE AIRPORT TODAY MORNING”

FACT CHECK:
We performed a reverse image search and found the same video shared on the internet from at least a year ago. The video is titled, “PIA A320 Taxing in Rain at Karachi Airport (sic).”
Taking the title as a hint, we searched further and found the same video shared with the same title in 2020.
Moreover, when the same video was shared last year as well under a false claim, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority clarified that the viral video was old.
Evidently, an old video is being shared online falsely to show the current situation at the Lahore Airport.
