In another photo, Deepika is seen resting in a hospital bed, smiling happily while holding her baby girl on her chest. Social media users shared the picture with the caption, "Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl. They shared the joyous news with fans today, marking a new heartwarming chapter in their lives.

Claim 3

Similarly, another user wrote, 'Deepika Padukone finally announces the good news after being blessed with a baby with Ranveer Singh.' In the post, Deepika and Ranveer are seen with a baby girl.

Fact Check: We found the claim is false; all the viral images are digitally altered

To verify, we searched the social media accounts of both Ranveer and Deepika but found no photos of their baby girl posted on their profiles.

Claim 1

Through a reverse image search, we discovered that a website called lmtonline.com had posted news on January 2, 2022, about a woman who gave birth to a baby girl on New Year's Day.

Upon comparing the two images, we noticed that they are nearly identical, except for the altered face, where Deepika's face was digitally added.

"So, it is proven that Deepika's face was superimposed onto the photo, which has since gone viral."

Claim 2

A Google reverse image search revealed that CNN Indonesia aired a news story on March 10, 2021, featuring a photograph very similar to the viral image of Deepika.

When we compared both images side by side, the photo in the CNN report was identical, except for the face, which had been replaced with Deepika's.

This confirms that Deepika's face was superimposed onto the original photo.

Claim 3

When we conducted a reverse image search, we found an Instagram post featuring a photograph uploaded on January 6, 2022, which closely resembled the viral image.

Upon comparing both images side by side, we found that the Instagram photo was identical, except for the faces, which had been altered to feature Deepika and Ranveer.

This confirms that Deepika and Ranveer's faces were superimposed onto the original Instagram picture.

Hence, we found the claim is false. Based on our research, neither Ranveer nor Deepika has shared any photos of their baby girl on social media. The viral photos circulating on social media have been digitally altered.
