Fact check:
The claim is FALSE. The people seen in the picture are not a father and daughter duo.
When observed carefully, we can see the old person sitting in the rickshaw holding a slate that has “Please follow Star Masons” on it. So, taking the cue, we searched different social media accounts of Star Masons.
Though we were not able to find the same image on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, we found another image featuring the same woman with a bunch of school kids holding the same slate.
We found the viral image shared on their Instagram account on January 15, 2016. The image shared on Star Mason's Instagram has the text ‘simrankaurmundi’ in its left-down corner. So, we searched for the handle Simrankaurmundi on Instagram, we found the account of the actress Simran Kaur Mundi. According to her account, she is Femina Miss India Universe 2008.
The viral image was shared by the actress, with the caption “Please don’t believe everything you read on Facebook and Instagram school! 114 comments out of which the majority are congratulations this is proof that people these days blindly believe anything and everything they read on Facebook/Whatsapp/Instagram school!!”
This image was shared by her in January 2016 on her Instagram account and also on her Twitter account.
Therefore, the viral image does not show the father and daughter duo, the girl driving the rickshaw is former Miss India Universe Simran Kaur Mundi. She is not an ASI in the police.
