Fact Check: Video showing monkeys ringing the bell is not from Ayodhya Ram temple but from Hanuman temple in Himachal Pradesh

Devotees continue to throng to the newly-inaugurated Ram Temple in Ayodhya to offer prayers to Shri Ram Lalla. A monkey ventured into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple a few days back, which was an enchanting moment for the devotees and it was considered Hanumanji himself visited Ram Lalla.
Amid such incidents occurring at the temple, a video has been published by the Facebook page of Suman TV News Telugu with the claim that monkeys are ringing a bell that has been installed in front of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The viral video showing monkeys jumping onto the temple bell to make it ring is shared with the claim in Telugu language. The claim in Telugu goes “అయోధ్య లో అద్భుతం రామయ్య గుడి ముందు వానరాలు గంట కొడుతూ..”, when translated, it claims ‘Miracle in Ayodhya, Monkeys ringing bell in front of Ram Temple’.

Fact check:
The claim is False. The video is from the year 2017 and shows an incident that took place at Hanuman temple in Himachal Pradesh.
When we searched the key frames extracted from the video using Google reverse image search, we found that the video was published on various social media platforms such as Facebook and also YouTube in July 2017.
When searched further, we found an article published by Connect Gujarat in July 2017. The article states that a mobile video went viral on social media where a group of monkeys are taking turns ringing the temple bell while aarti is being performed inside the temple. The video was shot by one of the temple priests to show the monkeys playing and jumping inside the temple. However, everyone was in for a surprise when the monkeys jumped and rang the bell of the temple one after another.
According to the article published in dailymail.co.uk, the video is from a Hanuman temple in Himachal Pradesh and the incident took place in July 2017.
Hence, the video is not from Ayodhya and is not recent. It is an old video which has been online from the year 2017. The claim is False.
